Titan Spine Playbook

What this is: a step-by-step plan for the 45-day Titan Spine battle phase, built by reading across from Eternal Land, the equivalent mode in another game in the same genre — Top War: Battle Game.

Why we need it: our own sources describe Titan Spine's systems well. They say almost nothing about what to actually do, in what order. Nobody in MYTH has played a season yet. Eternal Land has been running since 2021 and its players have already learned the lessons we are about to pay for.

How to read it: every step is marked. CONFIRMED means our own sources support it. READ-ACROSS means it comes from Eternal Land and is an educated guess about our game.

This page is inference, and one part of the premise is wrong

Fortune Hunter: Golden Saga and Top War are made by different companies — Star Union and Rivergame. Titan Spine is not a reused Eternal Land. Neither of our two research sources mentions Top War or Eternal Land even once.

The two modes also differ in ways that matter. Eternal Land pits servers against each other over roughly 15 days. Titan Spine pits alliances against each other over a 45-day battle phase. Day numbers do not transfer, and this page gives none.

What transfers is the shape of the problem, because both modes are built from the same genre parts. Treat every READ-ACROSS step as a hypothesis to test in game, not a plan to follow blindly. See BEST GUESS 045.

For the confirmed mechanics on their own, with no cross-game inference, read Titan Spine Isle first. This page assumes you have.

Why the comparison holds up anyway

Titan Spine's confirmed systems line up with Eternal Land's almost part for part. That is not evidence of copying — it is evidence that both studios built from the same well-worn template, which is what makes the lessons portable.

Titan Spine (confirmed) Eternal Land Same idea?
Separate season map, auto-entry, no going home Dedicated expedition server Yes
Titan Sanctum at the centre decides rewards Eternal City at the centre decides rewards Yes
Alliance lookouts expand territory, chained from adjacent tiles Power stations expand territory, chained outward Yes
Gatehouses and bridges gate movement between regions Gates gate movement between stages Yes
Huts continuously produce free season troops Resource camps and soldier production Close
Alliance exclusive resource spots, accelerated marches Resource camps inside guild territory Yes
Territory adjacency is required to attack a ruin Territory adjacency governs who may attack whom Yes
Building materials come from members' daily quests Amethyst comes from gathering on the map No — see Step 7
Season Rescue refunds healing and returns dead troops No documented equivalent No — see Step 14

Those last two mismatches are the important ones. They are exactly where a lazy read-across would hurt you, so each gets its own step below.

The five lessons Eternal Land teaches

These are the strategic principles behind the step-by-step. Each one is a READ-ACROSS.

1. The opening is an economy race, not a fight. Eternal Land's standing advice is that for roughly the first day everybody farms and nobody fights — because the territory currency comes from farming, and territory decides everything that follows. Acting on the fighting instinct costs you the map.

2. Territory is defence in depth, not a score. The Eternal Land target is a chain deep enough that an attacker must burn through five or more structures before reaching the inner area where players and production sit. Territory is not decoration. It is the wall.

3. Enclose your objectives rather than sprawling. Eternal Land players aim to enclose specific things — all three outposts, all four gates, the expedition base — instead of expanding wherever is easiest.

4. Blocking movement beats winning battles. A well-placed chain stops a stronger enemy from physically reaching the next gate. You do not have to beat them. You have to stand between them and the door.

5. Starve the builder, not the soldier. The sharpest Eternal Land tactic is attacking enemy gathering, not enemy armies. No gathering means no territory currency, no repairs, and a structure that decays until they stop expanding to defend it. This one may not transfer — see Step 9.

The step-by-step

Before you register

Step 1 — Leaders: read the requirements panel in game. CONFIRMED.

Open it and read it. Do not plan against any number in any guide, this one included. Our sources give three incompatible sets of figures and the official screenshot contradicts its own counters, so this site prints none of them. See BEST GUESS 006. An alliance that registers without meeting the real bar loses a 45-day season.

Step 2 — Everyone: decide honestly whether you are in for 45 days. CONFIRMED.

Once the battle phase starts you cannot return to the home server, and you enter automatically on login. The roster freezes at 00:00 UTC on the final registration day — after that nobody joins and nobody leaves. A member who quietly stops logging in on day 10 is a hole you cannot fill.

Step 3 — Leaders: recruit through Seasonal Assembly early. CONFIRMED.

Slots are limited per server and per alliance. Recruits transfer permanently and stay on our server after the season ends, so recruit people you would want to keep anyway.

Step 4 — Everyone: bank speed-ups and healing resources going in. READ-ACROSS.

Eternal Land's advice is to hold troop speed-ups back for the phase where they convert into a ranking buff rather than spending them in the warm-up. We have no confirmed Titan Spine equivalent of that buff, but the underlying banking logic is the premise of this whole site — see Banking and Timing. Entering with an empty inventory is the one clearly bad option.

Matchmaking and land selection

Step 5 — R5 only: pick your land the moment selection opens. CONFIRMED.

Three days, first come first served, and it cannot be changed. There are eight Lands of Beginning across the map's thirteen regions. Alliances that do not choose are assigned one.

Step 6 — R5: choose for adjacency, not for comfort. READ-ACROSS.

Eternal Land's expansion logic says a starting position is worth what its reachable gates and chokepoints are worth, because those govern movement later. Lands of Beginning are deliberately resource-poor, so choosing on local resources optimises for the phase that matters least. Look at what a position lets you wall off.

Opening — the first days on the map

Step 7 — Everyone: grind daily quests relentlessly. CONFIRMED, and this is the read-across's biggest correction.

In Eternal Land the opening is a gathering race. In our game it is not. Our sources are clear that alliance building materials — the input for lookouts, and therefore for all territory — come from members completing daily quests. Same bottleneck, different tap.

So Eternal Land's "everybody farm for the first 24 hours" becomes, for us: every member clears their dailies every day, starting day one. This is the least glamorous step on the page and the highest-leverage one. Territory expansion is rate-limited by how many people bother.

Step 8 — Everyone: take huts before you take fights. CONFIRMED.

Huts continuously produce free season troops, and season troops do not permanently die. Higher-level huts produce more, and both hut level and the number you may hold rise during the season. Every hour a hut is not yours is production you never get back.

Step 9 — Do not plan on starving the enemy's builders. READ-ACROSS, with a warning.

Eternal Land's strongest tactic is denying enemy gathering to cut off their territory currency. We have no reason to think that works here. If our building materials come from daily quests rather than map gathering, there is nothing on the map to deny — you cannot raid someone's to-do list.

Hitting their alliance exclusive resource spots is the nearest equivalent and may still hurt, but it is not the same lever. Treat economic denial as unproven until someone tests it. See BEST GUESS 048.

Build-out — before the gates open

Step 10 — Leaders: plan the whole lookout chain before building the first one. READ-ACROSS.

Lookouts can only go on tiles adjacent to existing territory, so expansion is a chain and early placements constrain every later one. The official-server account puts the lookout cap at roughly 300 and says placement determines your land area, though that account is itself provisional (BEST GUESS 035). Sketch the route to the chokepoints from Step 6, then build along it. Sprawling outward at random spends a capped resource on land you do not need.

Step 11 — Leaders: build depth toward the threat. READ-ACROSS.

The Eternal Land standard is that an attacker should have to destroy five or more structures before reaching the inner area. Our equivalent: huts, resource spots and members' bases belong well inside the chain, not on its edge. An enemy destroys a lookout by stationing troops until durability hits zero, which removes the territory it provided — so a single-file chain can be cut anywhere along its length, and everything past the cut is orphaned. Build the approaches thick. See BEST GUESS 047.

Step 12 — Everyone: fortify outposts and hunt the good targets. CONFIRMED.

Fortification backbone comes from hunting advanced wild creatures, attacking advanced rally targets, defeating Ketzel Kawad, and season events. Ketzel Kawad cannot be found with the normal search function and pays substantially more than ordinary creatures, so hunt it deliberately rather than waiting to stumble across it. The buffs last the season.

Step 13 — Everyone: earn alliance feat. CONFIRMED.

Feat ranking determines how many season tier 11 soldiers the alliance earns from occupied ruins. You earn it by helping build lookouts, destroying enemy lookouts, defeating ruin garrisons, reducing ruin durability, and killing troops inside ruins. Helping build a tower you personally do not care about still pays.

Contest — once movement opens

Step 14 — Everyone: fight freely. Stop protecting your army. CONFIRMED, and it is the biggest mindset change.

Season Rescue partially refunds resources spent healing, and soldiers killed during the season return to your outpost when it ends. Speed-ups and season potent potions are excluded from the refund. Season troops do not permanently die; injured ones heal at the season drill ground using season potent potions, so your potion supply, not your troop count, is the real constraint.

Eternal Land has no documented equivalent, which means its habits are more conservative than our game requires. This is a case where following the read-across would actively cost you. Hoarding troops wastes a system the developers built specifically so you would not.

Step 15 — Leaders: hold the gatehouses and bridges. CONFIRMED mechanic, READ-ACROSS priority.

Gatehouses and bridges must be taken before your alliance can move into other regions — that bottleneck is confirmed. Eternal Land's lesson is that it cuts both ways: holding a chokepoint stops a stronger enemy from reaching the next objective at all. Against an alliance that outguns you, geography is the equaliser.

Step 16 — Everyone: attack only what is adjacent, and expand to change that. CONFIRMED.

You can only attack ruins adjacent to your territory. A ruin you want is a lookout chain you have not built yet. That is the mechanical link between Step 7's daily quests and any offensive ambition at all — the grind is the offence.

Endgame — the Sanctum

Step 17 — Everyone: the Titan Sanctum is the win condition. CONFIRMED.

It is the central ruin of the whole isle, in the Land of Belief, and whoever controls it determines their alliance's final season rewards. Ruins held also count toward final rewards, so there is a genuine choice between contesting the centre and consolidating what you hold. No source tells us where that break-even sits.

Step 18 — Everyone: keep clearing milestones and achievements to the end. CONFIRMED.

Season milestones are alliance-wide and unlock features for everyone regardless of individual completion. Honor comes from occupying huts, collecting season soldiers, and fortifying outposts, and pays ranked rewards. Unclaimed achievements are mailed after the season, so nothing is lost by finishing late — and nothing is gained by stopping early.

Settlement

Step 19 — Everyone: keep your shield unless you have a reason. CONFIRMED.

Settlement runs about 1.5 days. Honor, achievements and season missions stop counting, but you can still act. Everyone receives a 24-hour shield which you may remove manually. There is rarely a reason to.

Step 20 — Everyone: expect your losses back. CONFIRMED.

Refunds, returned soldiers and unclaimed rewards arrive by mail after settlement. Season soldiers stay behind in the season world. Everyone returns to their original server.

What would change this page

Every READ-ACROSS step is a guess about our game made from a different game. The four load-bearing ones are registered so they can be corrected by number:

  • BEST GUESS 045 — whether Titan Spine follows the Eternal Land template at all
  • BEST GUESS 046 — whether the opening really is an economy race
  • BEST GUESS 047 — whether defensive depth in the lookout chain pays
  • BEST GUESS 048 — whether economic denial is possible here at all

Play a season, find something on this page wrong, and post the number with a screenshot in Discord. Being wrong in public is the point of numbering them.

Do not quote this page as fact

Nothing here carries the authority of the confirmed guides. If you repeat a READ-ACROSS step elsewhere — in Discord, in alliance chat, in a recruitment pitch — carry the label with it. The one failure mode this site has actually suffered is inference hardening into fact as it gets retold.
