Economy and Residents

The Resolution Chamber is the most underused building in the game. It can hand you five full days of resource production, a construction speed boost, and a 24-hour production buff — for free, repeatedly, forever. Most players never open it.

The short version

  1. Build your left-side production buildings before your base camp.
  2. Set kitchen food quality to luxury.
  3. Fully upgrade resident housing — furniture and comfort raise happiness.
  4. Keep production buildings upgraded and maintained. Broken tools mean unhappy workers.
  5. Check the Resolution Chamber regularly. Satisfaction Coins cap at 2,000,000.
  6. Spend before they cap. A capped bar is wasted production.
  7. Keep resources packed in your inventory — packed resources cannot be stolen.

Build the economy first

The instinct is to rush base camp level. It is wrong, and the reason is circular: each base camp level costs more than the last, and the resources come from the production buildings you are not upgrading while you rush.

Two views on build order

Experienced players disagree, and you should know both. Experienced players disagree here:

  • "Level everything": keep all buildings at roughly the same level as the Outpost.
  • "Prioritise": push Basecamp toward 30 as fast as possible and raise only what matters — barracks, resource buildings including food, both rally buildings, beast buildings, and research. The reasoning is that PvP is not a factor on a new server, so that window is for economy.

The prioritise view is the more recently endorsed of the two. Neither is wrong; the second is faster and riskier. See the conflicts register item 30.

Emphasis by play style:

  • PvP focus: Basecamp, Rally Center, Research Center, Training Camps, Beast buildings.
  • Economy focus: Basecamp, Residences, resource buildings, Construction Hall.
  • Farm accounts: resource buildings only.

The working order

Left-side buildings first. They are the cheapest and fastest to upgrade and they compound. The chain is straightforward — you need workers for resources, houses for workers, workplaces for those workers to be productive in, and high-level workplaces for high income.

A short list of right-side exceptions, upgraded alongside: Training Camps, Hospital, Research Lab, Alliance Hall, Rally Hall, Rally Center, Arsenal, Reserve Barracks. These carry the PvP side.

Naming warning

The names of Rally Hall and Rally Center were swapped on July 23, 2026, with their functions unchanged. Any guide written before that date uses the opposite names. Currently: Rally Center enables alliance rally participation and boosts rally attack, defence and capacity; Rally Hall increases your maximum troop count.

Everything else waits. The hero pub and the trader shop building do not matter early. Later, bring the neglected ones up evenly rather than leaving one at level 11 and another at level 1.

Upgrade the base camp steadily, not exclusively. It gates your maximum hero level, so it cannot be ignored — just do not make it your only project.

Push adventure stages as far as they go. Stage rewards are half the value; clearing deeper permanently raises offline gold and food income.

Residents and satisfaction

This is the input to the Resolution Chamber, and it is entirely within your control.

Happy, fed, healthy, working residents generate Satisfaction Coins over time. The fuller their status bars, the faster points accrue. Four things raise those bars:

Set food quality to luxury in the kitchen. The single biggest lever, and the first thing to do. Well-fed residents stay satisfied consistently.

Fully upgrade resident housing. Furniture and comfort upgrades raise happiness directly.

Keep production buildings upgraded and maintained. Workers dislike broken tools, and it shows in their satisfaction.

Check resident status regularly to see headcount, what they are doing, and how happy they are.

A useful side effect: happier residents get sick less often, which means less downtime and less healing.

The Resolution Chamber

Six resolutions, bought with Satisfaction Coins, each on its own cooldown. The exact costs:

Resolution Cost Effect
Overdrive 50k All resource buildings at 100% efficiency for 24h. Residents -10 mood.
All Hands on Deck 50k Residents work overtime for 48h. Residents -10 mood.
Full Rest Day 50k Resident mood +50, comfort +30.
Instant Production 150k Instantly gain 5 days of output from all production buildings.
Stimulant Serum 150k Instantly cures all ill residents.
Master Builders 800k Constructions started within a 5 minute window take -20% time.

Master Builders needs planning: queue everything you intend to build before you press it, because the discount only applies inside that 5 minute window.

The three 50k resolutions are cheap enough to run constantly. Master Builders at 800k is 40% of your entire cap, so bank deliberately for it and have the build queue ready before you trigger the 5 minute window.

The cap is 2,000,000 Satisfaction Coins. Once you hit it, further production is wasted. This is the failure mode: players who check in weekly find a capped bar and have effectively thrown away days of resident output.

So check in regularly and spend. The cooldowns are generous enough that consistent use is realistic.

How to actually use the resolutions

Master Builders before a big build, not after. You have a 5 minute window to start constructions after triggering it — line up everything you intend to build first.

Day off regularly — morale feeds back into point generation, so it partly pays for itself.

The instant resource claim whenever you are short, rather than saving it for a rainy day. It refills.

The 24-hour production buff during resource-scoring events — alliance duel gathering days, Fortune Mobilization — so the extra production also scores points. See Events Overview and Priorities.

Claim your free extra resources daily. It is free. Nothing else needs to be said about it.

Protecting what you produce

Packed resources cannot be stolen. Resources sitting as unopened packs in your inventory are safe; only what sits in the Warehouse can be plundered. Upgrading the Warehouse also raises how much is protected from plundering.

And resource chests must actually be used to grant their contents. A chest labelled 100k that appears to have given you 10k has usually not been opened — tap to use it. This trips up a surprising number of players.

So only unpack what you are about to spend. This is the single best anti-raid habit in the game and it costs nothing. Players who unpack everything on receipt get farmed repeatedly and never work out why.

Shield when you will be offline a long time. Five free shields a week. On a young server especially, where you do not yet know who to trust — one player was wiped out overnight by their own alliance mates.

Turn on push notifications so you know when you are attacked and when queues return.

Use your offline hours

Before logging off, check what is running. If troop training finishes in one hour and you will be gone ten, speed it up now and start a fresh ten-hour batch. You are converting one productive hour into ten.

Same for research and construction. Do this nightly and it is one of the largest compounding gains available, especially to a free account.

And send every idle queue out to gather. A queue sitting at home overnight produces nothing.

Common mistakes

Rushing base camp. Starves the economy that funds the base camp.

Leaving food quality on the default. Luxury food is the cheapest satisfaction you will ever buy.

Letting Satisfaction Coins cap. Days of resident output, discarded.

Never opening the Resolution Chamber. Five days of production, a construction buff, and a 24-hour production boost are sitting in there right now.

Unpacking all your resources. Free protection, given away.

Logging off with short timers running. Compress them first, then start something long.
